Manhattan
alter our history
Story | Devastation to Manhattan couldn’t have been for scene. No one could read the body language of the massive beasts that lived on stoops and back yards. Maybe something had triggered in their mind that the humans were getting weak, what with the sicknesses that were killing off thousands of them. It was natural for the pecking order to change, and every dog (no matter if they loved their humans) knew that the wind was going to blow differently very soon. The time came deep in the winter months when most two legers had already fled from the disease, were out of Manhattan to visit others, or were sick in bed. When the rebellion took place it swept across the realm with no leaders, only a mass of untamed and wild dogs looking for a change and that’s what they got. Humans packed up and they never came back, some even died by the fang though it wasn’t often. Within two weeks all of Manhattan had been evicted of its two legged inhabitants and taken over by the canines. Will you come and live here within these city limits?
Plot | It has been five years since the rebellion took place and the humans, try as they might, couldn’t take down the swarm of canines that seemed to even travel across country to make Manhattan their home. Though the government did do something that they had never done before, allowed the SMP Association to come into the picture and make their home base only a few miles off of the city limit. The SMP (also know as Special Mutation Project) has been known for their strange transformations and feared for what they could possibly create though now, their proposal for creatures that have the form of canines, with the wings like mythical creatures and the powers like the gods. When they had been released their creators had thought that they would be able to control them, send them after the canines within Manhattan and destroy them.
When all eight canines were set loose they attracted to the first thing that all of their eyes were laid upon, their creators. Three were slain and the last had gotten to a gun and shot at one of the largest canines that had turned to leave. The bullet hit and then fell to the ground, without inflicting any damage to the wing. Kryptonite… the word spilled from the man who scuttled out of the main workroom to escape though one of the other mutants stopped him dead in their tracts. Manhattan wasn’t sure how to greet the eight canines that walked into the city, blood dripping from their maws and some, such as the female water bender, who had water spinning around her two front paws. Lack of control, though it wouldn’t take long for any of the newly hatched beasts to tame it.
A small group of canines didn’t hesitate to voice their protests about the outsiders, which was what they would end up being referred to by most canines in Manhattan. The group of outsiders would soon split up after that, some might still stick together but the majority left their brothers and sisters to make a name of their own in the city limits. Whose site will you be on? Will you not take heed to the looming war between the Outsiders and the Norms? Or will you find yourself caught in the middle?
